Brenda Nunes, GREEN, LEED AP is a connector and educator .  Her gift is connecting buyers and sellers to create mutually benefical deals for both parties.  She is very knowledgeable in the benefits of green homes and her passion is helping clients identify, promote, and enhance green features in homes resulting in better comfort, lower operating costs and healthier living environments for residents.

As a licensed real estate professional, she also works with home builders and developers on developing messaging that promotes the value of green developments and sells homes. Brenda is currently working on the sales, public relations and marketing for Rocky Top Living in Cowiche, WA.

Over the past 15 years she has developed, taught and facilitated classes on low impact development, sustainable sites and other green building topics for real estate professionals and home owners throughout Washington State. She provided expert consulting services to National Association of Realtors for development of National Green Realtor Designation.  She is on the Board of Directors for the Sustainability Foundation, Master Builders Career Connections, and the NW Eco Building Guild  and supports their efforts to develop practical educational programs and demonstration projects that encourage responsible development.

She was awarded the Kirkland Chamber of Commerce's Anne J. Owen Community Service Award in 2009 for her work as a Kirkland Chamber president, integrating sustainability in the business community through the Kirkland Green Business Program and Sustainable September, a month long business and consumer education and awareness program. In 2007 she was awarded the Built GreenR Pioneer Award by the Master Builders of King and Snohomish County for her work in promoting green building through demonstration projects. Brenda has a communications degree from Marquette University and a Masters in Business Administration from Seattle University. She has taken numerous continuing education classes in real estate, development, land planning, sustainable building practices.
